Finca Pura Jungla

Finca Pura Jungla is a development with a great story to tell. The finca was bought twenty years ago when it was nothing but pastureland for cows and the owner put a real eco plan in action:

-He planted over 60,000 trees and built a forest
-He built a rain water catchment basin that now houses many aquatic birds
-He kept a majority of the finca as a private reserve for local wildlife
-All this hard work helped recharge the aquifers underground. In this first phase of the project electricity cables are underground to protect fauna.

The project is, essentially, a north and south ridge separated by a valley. The valley is a green zone. At the end of the valley there is an area for communal use for livestock or food production.

To give homeowners the feeling that they are truly alone in the jungle but with a neighbor to obtain eggs from just a hop, skip, and a jump away, the owner only placed home sites on the summits of those two distinct ridges within the finca. Each lot is nearly two acres in size. On more than 150 acres, there are only about 30 housing sites!

Naturally, there is electricity, telephone, internet (the finca is a sub-station for internet…T1 service), and clean, delicious running water.

Ocean views can be seen to the west and southwest from this particular site. There are several natural areas where your ideal home could be constructed. We particularly like this one since it has a small valley on either side that completely separates it from all the others. Both the south and bottom of the land as well as its west side are included in the 70-acre green zone.
